Overview & notice at collection
This Privacy Policy explains how AspectIQ collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use the AspectIQ website and Talent Network, and serves as our notice at collection. We collect only what we need to represent Consultants and operate the network, and we do not sell your personal information.
Categories of information we collect
Identifiers & account: name, email, role, and company (recruiters). Professional/profile: title, skills, certifications, availability, work authorization, location, work history, and your desired pay rate. Résumé & documents: the file you upload and the structured data extracted from it (which may include “sensitive” personal information). Engagement & financial: timesheets, engagements, invoices, and payout records (bank details are held by our payment processor, not by AspectIQ). Technical/usage: log and analytics data.
How we use it
To create and represent your profile, match Consultants to engagements, administer contracts, timesheets, invoicing, and payment, communicate with you, and secure and improve the Service.
Automated processing & disclosure. With your consent, we use an AI service (Anthropic’s Claude API) to read your uploaded résumé and pre-fill your profile; you review and confirm all fields before submission. We also compute a skills-based “match” indicator to help surface relevant roles. These tools are decision-support aids reviewed by humans and are not used by AspectIQ to make automated hiring or adverse decisions about you. Where law requires (e.g., automated-employment-decision rules), we will provide additional notice and honor opt-out/manual-review rights.
How we share it
Recruiters see a sanitized profile only — name, skills, headline, experience summary, and a banded bill rate. Recruiters never see your uploaded résumé, contact details, or actual pay rate. We share data with service providers strictly to operate the Service: payment processing (Stripe), transactional email (Resend), analytics (Google Analytics), AI résumé parsing (Anthropic), and authorized job-data providers used to display market opportunities. We may disclose information to comply with law or protect rights.
Your rights (CCPA/CPRA & similar)
You may request to know/access, correct, or delete your personal information, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and to opt out of automated profiling. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Consultants can delete their account and data at any time via “Delete my data” in the portal, or by emailing [email protected]. We honor verifiable requests within the timeframes required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Retention
We retain résumé and profile data for the period you consent to (by default, 24 months from consent), after which the résumé file and AI-extracted data are purged automatically. Engagement and financial records are retained as required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
Security & breach
Résumés are stored in private, access-controlled storage; sensitive fields are isolated so they are not exposed to recruiters; data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we maintain safeguards and will notify affected individuals and regulators of a reportable breach as required by law.
Cookies, children & changes
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand site usage; you can block analytics via your browser or an ad blocker. The Service is not directed to anyone under 18. We may update this Policy; material changes are reflected by the “Last updated” date.
